Accessibility Note
Because the building sits on a hillside above Lake Superior, some surrounding streets are sloped. Parking in the Chester Creek Books lot provides the flattest and most accessible route to the entrance, where a permanent ramp offers step-free access.
The main level of the bookstore is accessible for visitors using wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Due to the historic nature of the building, however, the basement, loft, and altar levels are accessible only by stairs and are not ADA accessible.
